Passports

To get a Biometric Passport

The required documents:

1. Fill out the Passport Application Form provided by the Embassy.
2. Photocopy of the current passport (first three pages).
3. Recent extract of civil record (Ikhraj Kayd Fardy), of which the date of issuance is no more than 5 years old, OR the new digital Lebanese ID.

   Note: Only notarized copies of these documents would be acceptable.

4. Two recent colored photos size 4,5 x 3,5 cm (not cut out of other photos), depicting full face details, with a white background.

FOR MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS, a consent letter drafted by both parents in person at the Embassy is required to issue a Passport or Visa.

 
To replace a lost passport

The required documents:

1. An official report issued from the local police authorities reporting the loss of the passport.
2. A signed report drafted at the Embassy about the circumstances of the passport loss.
3. Passport Application Form provided by the Embassy.
4. A photocopy of the lost passport (if available).
5. Recent extract of individual civil record (Ikhraj Kayd Fardy), of which the date of issuance is no more than 5 years old, OR the new computerized Lebanese ID.
6. Two recent colored photos size 4,5 x 3,5 cm (not cut out of other photos), depicting full face details, with a white background.

To replace a damaged passport

The required procedures/documents are as follows:

1. The damaged or degraded passport should be submitted at the Embassy, along with a copy before being damaged or degraded (if available).
2. A signed report drafted at the Embassy about the circumstances of the passport damage.
3. Passport Application Form provided by the Embassy.
4. A photocopy of the original passport (if available).
5. Recent extract of civil record (Ikhraj Kayd Fardy), of which the date of issuance is no more than 5 years old, OR the new computerized Lebanese ID.
6. Two recent colored photos size 4,5 x 3,5 cm (not cut out of other photos), depicting full face details, with a white background.
